An agent combines a purpose, operating instructions, allowed tools, and runtime policy.

Design principles#

• Give each agent one operational role.
• Define success and failure states.
• Prefer explicit tool grants over broad access.
• Validate important external actions.
• Record side effects and evidence.

Production activation should follow a representative test and permission review.
